The IIFC now calls for proposals for organising its 6th official
conference, CICE 2014. Details of the call for proposals can be found here.
The deadline for submitting a proposal is 15 August 2010.
All proposals will be assessed by the IIFC Executive Committee (ExCom).
Proposals shortlisted by the ExCom will be submitted to the IIFC Council for
decision at its next meeting at CICE 2010 in Beijing. Proposers of the
shortlisted proposals will be invited to give a short presentation at the
meeting.
The wining team will be asked to sign an MoU with
the IIFC shortly after the decision.
All IIFC members are encouraged to consider the possibility of hosting
CICE2014. If you are not interested in hosting this conference yourself, but
would like to nominate a particular institution or location for CICE 2014,
please also email your suggestions to Jian-Fei Chen for consideration by the ExCom. |

Call for nominations for IIFC Medal and IIFC Distinguished Young Researcher Award
The IIFC Honours Committee now calls for nominations for the IIFC Medal and IIFC Distinguished Young Researcher Award. These awards will be given at its next official conference CICE 2010 in Beijing in September 2010.
All IIFC members are invited to nominate appropriate candidates for these awards by 20 December 2009. Nominations should be forwarded to the IIFC Honours Committee through its chairman Professor Urs Meier at urs.meier@empa.ch.
