Symposium of the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE) in Budapest, Hungary

On September 13-15, 2006, the Hungarian Group of IABSE and the Budapest University of Technology and Economics will host the Symposium of the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE) in Budapest, Hungary, on the subject Responding to Tomorrow's Challenges in Structural Engineering

The Symposium will cover the following specific topics:

* New functional demands
* New expectations
* New working practices
* New opportunities

Several sub-topics have been identified, and in some fields, sub-session will be organised, e.g. 'Composite Materials in Structural Engineering', 'Structural Glass.

The deadline for receipt of abstracts is July 31, 2005.
