FRP Composites for Infrastructure Application
Awards
In order to promote the use of FRPs in civil engineering applications, the IIFC plans to publish a Photo album of all eligible entries. By entering the competition, the photographers implicitly give their consent to the use of their image for any promotional or academic purposes by the IIFC, with no additional compensation.
One Top Prize and up to five Honourable Mentions will be awarded in each category.
The Top Prize winners will receive a 200$US award (which can be credited toward future membership fees in the IIFC), and have his/her photograph appear on the cover of one issue of the Journal of Composites for Construction published by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) http://ascelibrary.aip.org/cco/.
The two Top Prizes and the ten Honourable Mentions entries will be printed on posters and will be displayed, with due acknowledgement to their author, at future IIFC events and international conferences.
