The damaged girder was taken from a bridge
which was hit by an overheight vehicle and repaired using polymer modified
mortar and CFRP sheets. After surviving 2 million cycles of fatigue
loading, the girder was brought to failure which occurred due to concrete
crushing in the unrepaired region.
