The image shows intermediate crack induced debonding of CFRP initiating
from the toe of a flexure-shear crack in a concrete beam propagating to
the left. Although locally debonded, the CFRP strip remains attached to
the beam The beam was subject to fatigue loading - the eventual
reinforcing bar fracture is clearly seen.
